Sarah contacted me this summer about her upcoming senior photos. She was looking for something bright, vibrant, full of energy, and something unique that would stand out from the crowd. Well, that is right up my alley! Sarah knew she wanted to head into Deep Ellum, so we waited for a weekend after the summer heat passed, and it was well worth the wait! The weather was just gorgeous.
Sarah’s dad mentioned that his father-in-law had built some custom bikes and he had noticed the biker bar around the corner. I mentioned that the owner of the bar is actually a friend of my husband’s and with the great color palette on the exterior of the place, it would be great to see if maybe we could incorporate some of the bikes into Sarah’s photos. Well, we struck gold! We started with some amazing “power” shots of Sarah in front of the bar, and one of the guys offered to let us use his bike for our photos. I think you’ll agree below, the end result was just amazing! My favorite thing about senior sessions, is trying to find something memorable for my clients to remember about their shoot. This definitely fit the bill for that!

Favorite Memory: “The first one is when I got to watch my dad perform Pink Floyd- Comfortably Numb with this old high school band. He sang. And my second is when I saw my favorite band Maylene and the Sons of Disaster play at the Door and I met and took a picture with the lead singer, Dallas Taylor and the bassist gave me his pick in between songs. The third is a concert my ex boyfriends band played in and in the middle of the breakdown he kneeled over the stage and gave me a kiss, the whole club roared and cheered.”

I absolutely love Sarah Kinman’s pictures. She is in my theatre clas and refered me to you. I am greatly looking into you to do my pictures. The first one one this page with Sarah wearing her heart necklace is my absolute favorite. But the one with her on the bike screams this is who sarsh is. (:

I hope when you become rich and famous you will still remember one of your biggest fans – that ancient old cousin who gave you little stuffed animals for Christmas presents and airplane rides in between.
And don’t forget, Cousin Jeff and I still have to personally interview any new potential boyfriends.
