Frank and I met them at a gelatto shop for our last meeting before the wedding. This would be my first time meeting Will and I was looking forward to seeing the dynamic between he and Brittany. As we talked about the special touches they planned for their wedding day, Brittany’s excitement increased and the sparkle in her eye told me how excited she was to be married to Will. Will is quiet, but not an awkward quiet… more like, the comfortable silence of just being happy to be with the person you love most. We talked about the ranch where he is training horses, and about growing up in the country and how it creates an appreciation for the simple things that matter most: family, friends, and community. Maybe it was the way they were both so at ease together, how he reached for her hand, or the way his eyes would light up whenever Brittany laughed at one of my husband’s funny comments… but watching the two of them together, even in such a short time that afternoon, one thing was apparent to me. These two “fit” together like peanut butter and jelly.
Their wedding at 1899 Farmhouse was absolutely gorgeous, and fit perfectly with their personalities. From the burlap wrap on the bouquets, to the hand-poured mason jars of honey for their favors (with the cutest tags that said, “meant to bee”), and the burlap sashes for the reception chairs, every detail reflected the life they were getting ready to start together. Surrounded by their loved ones, they said “i do” with their parents looking on.
